DRA Ambassadors are an integral part of creating a welcoming and safe environment in Downtown Raleigh by providing directions, giving safe walks, connecting with those in need, and more.
Thanks to funding provided by the City of Raleigh - Government, DRA can reach even more people with a second Outreach Specialist on the Ambassador team. Give a warm welcome to Jessica Martinez, our new Social Services Outreach Specialist!
Outreach Specialists focus on building a rapport with those encountered on the streets of Downtown Raleigh to make sure unsheltered and vulnerable residents are connected to appropriate resource providers for shelter, food, clothing, and medical & mental health services.
