KONO Operations Supervisor Darnel Mooring Lends a Helping Hand

Sometimes it takes a village to help those who need it most. Newly promoted KONO Operations Supervisor Darnel Mooring has been working closely with Shari Godinez, Executive Director Koreatown Northgate CBD and local property owner, John Mervin, to secure services for an unsheltered woman with mobility issues. Darnell successfully connected “M” with social services, although she returned to the same sidewalk location after three weeks. Outreach continued and happily “M” has accepted services and is now in a treatment program.
