DRA's Safety Ambassadors remain on patrol in Downtown Raleigh

The Downtown Raleigh Ambassadors utilize alternative transportation such as bikes to patrol the streets and keep the downtown area safe.

Considered essential, they are following social distancing guidelines, including remaining at least 6 feet from anyone during interactions. Ambassador patrols have been adjusted to increase their presence during times when residents are out walking around in the afternoon and evenings, as well as aligned with when the employees of downtown businesses, including remaining open restaurants and essential retailers, are coming to and from work.
